This Privacy Policy explains how Citala Technologies handles data when you use Migration Hub for Jira (“App”).
2. Data We Process
The App may process:
Jira issue metadata (for example: issue key, issue type, status, parent/subtask references, links)
Project metadata (for example: project key, project id, project type)
Mapping configurations created by users (issue type/status/field mappings, batch size, migration settings)
Migration run data (run status, batch logs, counts, errors)
Basic user/account context provided by Atlassian for app execution
The App is designed for Jira migration operations and processes only data required to perform those operations.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to:
Run preflight/readiness/integrity checks
Execute bulk issue move/migration operations
Save draft mappings and run history
Display migration progress, errors, and logs in the app UI
Maintain reliability and troubleshooting information
4. Data Storage and Hosting
The App is built on Atlassian Forge and runs on Atlassian infrastructure (“Runs on Atlassian”).
App data is stored using Forge-hosted storage unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell customer data.
We do not share customer data with third parties except:
Atlassian services required to operate Forge/Jira integrations
Where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights/safety
6. Data Retention
We retain app data only as long as needed for app functionality and support.
Customers may request deletion of app-stored migration data by contacting us at privacy@citala.com.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational controls to protect data, including access controls and least-privilege practices within Atlassian/Forge capabilities.
8. International Transfers
Data processing may occur in regions used by Atlassian Cloud/Forge infrastructure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact privacy@citala.com for requests.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
